Meet at your hotel or at a designated point where you will receive a warm welcome by your guide. Let’s start the day! En route for a short minivan ride and arrive in the vineyards of Istria!
Get fitted with a bike and a helmet and after a short presentation of the local rules-of-the-road as well as how to operate the bike, start the tour.
Time to en route on your bike now! Start pedaling and take an easy ride through the beautiful BAREDI vineyards. Enjoy seeing some prestigious properties while taking a zigzag route along quiet back roads.
Cycle at you pace through vineyards and enjoy the spectacular views of the whole coastline from the top of rolling Savrini hills, as we slowly head towards a beautiful and charming family run chateau located in the heart of Istria vineyards.
At the arrival, be warmly welcomed by the wine-maker himself, visit his winery and taste several of his breathtaking wines. Wine tasting is paired with traditional snacks like prosciutto, cheese, home made bread, olive oil, vinegar. Great friendly atmosphere guarantee! If you desire you will be able to buy some bottles of wine.
Back on your bike! On the way, stop and visit the village of Gazon, listed as one of the oldest Istrian settlements. Then, go on a guided walk to a village Church of St. Peter and St. Paul.
The church was consecrated in 1478 and conserves some frescoes and old Glagolitic inscriptions.
After a wine tasting experience and after a village visit, the trip continue on an easy cycle path and passes nearby another, this time even smaller, Istrian settlement of Srgasi. Cosy village surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.
Mostly flat roads and few difficulties with some hills to climb.
Capture one last memory of the Savrini Hills vineyards and olive tree plantations while you ride back to our starting point. Than, after a wonderful afternoon in the countryside take a relaxing minivan ride to your hotel or to your pick up point.
