After picking you up, we depart for a fairy tale landscape of VINTGAR GORGE - one of the easiest and most satisfying trips - not even a half hour drive from lake Bled. We will be heading there to admire one of the "Seven wonders of Slovenia". The Vintgar gorge is 1600 m long and till 250 m deep gorge that carves its way through the vertical rocks and hills and is graced by waterfalls, pools and rapids.

Walking causes appetite. Fortunately, there's a GOSTILNA nearby (a typical village inn) with menu based on locally sourced trout to enjoy grilled or fried.

Following the hiking experience, an exquisite lunch and a freshly brewed cappuccino, it is time to pay a much expected visit to the pearl of Slovenian Alps - Lake Bled. A guided tour of a charming Bled and a visit of a confectionery, snacking on a typical Bled dessert – “kremsnita” (vanilla cream cake, the most famous dessert in the country).

We are going to ride with a wooden boat called PLETNA to the only Slovenian charming island with a church, where you can rig the famous wishing bell and make a wish.

Enjoy the rest of the late afternoon and evening as you wish after being dropped off at your hotel. Spend the night in the alpine village of Kranjska Gora.

Morning departure from Kranjska Gora towards Trenta valley. This is a day to have your camera ready! After breakfast, today’s drive takes us to some of Slovenia’s most photogenic attractions, starting with a visit to the beautiful area of mountains, waterfalls, gorges and stone arches. The road will take us over a 1.600 meters high Vrsic pass. The road to Vrsic is definitely one of the most scenic roads in the Alps and leads directly to the upper part of Trenta Valley.

Once there, we will start to follow the stream of Soca river from its turquoise coloured spring to emerald green riverbeds. Yes, it’s true. Our princess is so photogenic that you don’t need to take any sophisticated photo courses or use expensive software. Her photos are always top. But the most attractive section of Soca river will be discovered by an unique rafting experience. Sure we will give you neoprene suits, helmets and make you row hard, but don’t worry. The stuff knows the river like no one else. You will not sweat much. We will even stop our rafts for a while and take time for splashing around.

The river is surrounded with numerous mountains and the area is home to many cheese producers whose products are labelled with “Protected Geographical lndication” label. Our local culinary experience of the day will be related to the life of these producers and shepherds, tasting traditional “shepherd’s lunch” and cheeses.

After saying goodbye to the valley and after slightly less than one-hour drive, we'll reach Brda - Slovenia’s most famous wine growing district. Dinner (accompanied of course, by wine tasting) will be served soon after the accommodation at the hotel in Brda region. And latter, there will be enough free time to rest at the hotel or explore the surroundings.

Forget Provence and Tuscany; Slovenia’s region of Brda is Europe’s next hidden gem, waiting to be explored. After breakfast, let your guide take you around the Brda landscape to get to know this wine growing region in all its outstanding beauty. Get acquainted with its unique cultural heritage and its rich history. You are bound to be seduced by excellent Brda wines together with its genuine local dishes.

The route will lead us to the villages of Dobrovo and Smartno that offer a wonderful view of the surrounding wine hills. At the nearby wine farm we will taste their excellent wines while overlooking vineyards, cellars and listening to the passionate story of how to make great wine.

It is time for lunch now. After enjoying villas and spectacular vineyard views we will proceed to a special winery that offers organic wines from their own cellar and locally produced homemade food. The owners are winemakers who produce organic wines since decades. We'll stop there for a lunch to enjoy local culinary specialities togethet with tasting some more of Brda wines.

Unfortunately, beauty doesn't last forever. It's time to return home now, but with a happy heart and great memories. One last chance to take the last coffee together. After three days of wonderful sightseeing, you will be dropped off at your hotel or at your pick up point. And don't forget. Whatever you need to do (extend your stay, catch your connecting transfer etc.), we’ll help. Contact us for details about customizing your itinerary!
